The Roman Empire was split in two because the earlier ways to manage the Roman Empire had failed. The colonial management of the Republic depended on former city officials, and even then it was difficult to get competent and honest ones. The split also reflects the economic changes which gave more power to the East, notably Egypt.
- This fictional game was played with General Suvorov's Byzantine Saga Scenario (Cudos to him) This was actually my 5th attempt at this scenario. The first five were played on Hard/Agressive with Major's on. I had success on the forth attempt.
- Byzantine Empire was part of Triple Entente along with Russian Empire and French Republic. Country which were members of Central Empire were German Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Spanish Empire and Danish Empire. In 1916 one incident which happened in Moscow triggered the Greatest war in European history, this incident killed Danish Empire's Emperor which was in Moscow for peaceful negotiations.
